The Long Wait

The next Elder Scrolls is still years out. The conversation doesn't have to wait.

Bethesda has confirmed almost nothing about The Elder Scrolls VI: a province, one teaser, a long silence. That silence is where fake leaks come from. We track what's sourced, read the lore against the books that wrote it, and keep the threads worth keeping.

How Morrowind books erase mortal agency in myth

The in-game books do not simply romanticize the past. They systematically strip away the record of individual decisions so that outcomes appear foreordained by gods or fate. The...

Red Mountain Eyewitnesses: How Tribunal and Ashlander Texts Contradict

How we work

We keep the threads worth keeping.

Most Elder Scrolls discussion scrolls past and disappears. The good post from last spring is gone; the same fake leak comes back every month. We built the opposite — a slower, sourced, searchable home for people who plan to care about Tamriel for years, not for an afternoon.

  1. No fabricated leaks. If we can't point at the source, we say so plainly. Rumour gets labelled as rumour. We'd rather post less than poison the record.

  2. Lore that cites the books. Theories are grounded in the in-game texts and developer writing, quoted and linked — so a claim can be checked instead of just repeated.

  3. Depth the churn can't hold. Threads are kept, tagged and searchable. The good conversation from last year is still here when the next person needs it.

  4. Independent, and ad-free in the threads. No publisher money, no affiliate links, no ads between posts. Run by people who play these games and read every report.
